The University Hotel is housing 12 families who have evacuated from areas hit by Hurricane Katrina, and another six families are expected to arrive this evening. The hotel staff is preparing a detailed list of items that will be immediately useful for these individuals, and that list will be available later this afternoon. For now, they are asking for bottled water and snacks, which can be taken to the front desk of the hotel, or placed in the Bluebonnet Room adjacent to the hotel lobby. http://www.shsu.edu/~pin_www/
