Have you ever heard this statement? It is a very profound statement and one that needs attention. Listen, for this simple statement will be the revelation that mankind is searching for.
Just as I came down from my heavenly kingdom, as a babe, to lead the way for my people to come back to my Father's house, so too, my people must become as little children in order to save the world from total destruction.
When a child is born, it is usually a joyful time. This
is especially true of my kingdom, for children are fresh from this heavenly
realm. They have the same glow about them and are still attached to me
through the invisible umbilical cord than spans my world and their new
world. The difference is that I never sever my cord with my people. Only
man does this. It seems children are being taken away
from me at an early age these days; you can see them
change right before your eyes. One day they are babes that simply need
love and nourishment from the physical as well as the spiritual world to
keep them happy. However, they are soon weighed down by the world and its
standards, and then they begin to lose their "spark of heaven." They are
too soon programmed by TV, by teachers, even
by parents--not by God. Little ones are exposed to sports,
school activities, and many other activities that take them away from their
God-like attitude. So many lose their innocence and their knowledge about
their maker, and this makes me very sad.
I have spoken so often to man that unless he become as
a child, he will not enter my kingdom. What is meant by this? Well, a child
is patient, a child is trusting, a child is love itself. It matters not
its sex or nationality, only that it is loved and cared for. You have only
to witness the smile and cooing of a babe and see the smiles come over
most men and women's faces. A child can make grown hearts
mellow. That is why I say unto you, you must become as
little children--be patient, trust in me, and most of all love me. Let
me love and nourish you in return.
Often you see pictures or hear of visions of me as a babe in my mother's arms and you say this cannot be, for I am grown now and in charge of my heavenly realm. But alas, I say to you, the portrait shows me as a babe to bring home the message to my people that they must become childlike in their devotion to my heavenly Father. Men must learn to trust and love my heavenly Father, obeying all his commands, directions, and all his wishes for them. They will, in turn, find him a loving Father that will assist them in all their needs.
So I say unto you, look to a child. See how he can pull
the strings of even a hard-hearted man. Know that this is what I am saying
to you: Become a child again in your heart. Trust your heavenly Father.
Give him your undivided attention. Give him your total love. Listen to
his wisdom. Grow in this wisdom and give obedience
to the Father who loves you as no human could ever love you. Love him as
a child, in a childlike wonder, and let him steady you in your daily walk
with him. Give him
your love and know that he awaits this love from his
children and brings them gifts beyond human comprehension.
At Christmastime, you will once again celebrate my coming as a babe into the world. Remember to look at a child, see the wonder and love in his eyes, and know that this is the Father's wish--that you will come to him as little children into his kingdom, full of love, full of wonder, and filled with his glory. To this end is the wish of the heavenly Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Go and ponder this lesson. Ask for special guidance and know that as your heart becomes in tune with God, you will be granted the knowledge and blessings of a kind Father to his beloved children.
