Where there is God, there is peace and love. Never forget that! Too
many times the human element
tends to deny the peaceful and loving existence of God; that is why
all the world is in such a turmoil
of insecurities, indecisions, and unhappiness. Today "modern man" thinks
with his head, not his heart. The modern man wants everything done for
him NOW, at this very moment. He wants money,
position, and answers now, not when the Lord sees fit to give them
to him.
Each life that God creates has its own pattern woven by God himself.
We must follow the woven
pattern in order to complete our life. It is not our making; it is
the Lord God's creation. Each of us
comes into the world carrying a message from God. The unique combination
of gifts and talents,
endowing the newborn, carries the invitation and the capability of
answering YES to the life plan. So
it is foolish of man to think that he is the ruler of himself, that
he may do as he pleases with his life
while on this earth. Oh, yes, he can try, and he does try, to unweave
the pattern being woven for
him, and this is what gets man into trouble. Man was created in the
image of God for God's honor
and glory, not man's honor and glory. Too often human man forgets this
and tries to "put on God"
himself, and this folly becomes the downfall of many.
The time is fast approaching when the Lord God will reveal himself once
again to mankind and let
men know, in no uncertain terms, what he expects of them. That is why
it is so urgent that everyone
pray wait, and listen for his answers. Do not be anxious; do not question
why or when or what you
must do. Your life is being patterned by the greatest of all master
craftsmen. So do not be anxious.
You are to take just one day at a time and do the Lord's work on just
that day only. The Lord God
is in no hurry. He plans your life work when he sees fit. You cannot
hurry the Lord. You cannot
outguess him. It will be his decision when you shall conquer and when
you shall rest. All in good
time.
God has never forsaken those who are willing to act as one of his special
envoys, but too often he is
forsaken by some who have foolish ideas that they are not doing his
bidding because they see no
results or because they feel no emotional impact in their daily walk
with him. Do not fall into this
unfortunate stalemate of indifference. Everyone must learn to trust
him as your life pattern is woven
and formed by the Master's loving hands. Do not fret or worry; do not
become anxious about your
mission for him. All will be done in his time, as he weaves the pattern
of your life for his honor and
glory. Be content for now to know you are in his loving care; do not
try to outguess him; do not try
to challenge him. Only know that if you do his bidding every day, he
will bless you. You may not
always see results, but remember you are seeing only with human eyes,
not divine eyes. Spread his
love and peace to everyone you come in contact with on a daily basis.
This is all he asks of you at
this time. Be his peacemaker; be the instrument he uses to bring men
back into his fold. Do not
question the master craftsman; only let him gently and lovingly weave
the pattern of your life so that
the final result will be a most beautiful and unique piece of art.
Let go and let God plan your life, and
only then will you know true peace, true happiness, and contentment.
