If every morning upon awakening, mankind would sing these praises unto
the Lord, what a
difference it would make in the world! The sentiment in this phrase
is so true, for each day is a new
day, a renewal or covenant made with man's Creator. God has given man
another chance to be
reunited with the master Creator of life. It matters not if the day
is cloudy or sunny, if you awaken to
sunshine and blue skies or rain and thunder--this day is a blessing
to you from your Creator.
Lift up your hearts to your Creator and in thanksgiving. Give him praise,
honor, and glory. Now, you
may say, "But I am sick. I have worries regarding my family, my work,
my health. How can I wake
and give thanks for the day? Sometimes it is a chore to just to get
out of bed. Sometimes I just want
to lie down and pull the covers over my head and forget another day
of pain, of suffering, has come.
How can I sing with joy when all I see and feel is turmoil, pain, and
rejection? How can I sing
praises unto the Lord when my heart is heavy, when my life seems dismal
and a failure? How can I
feel joyful when all I feel is helplessness, and I just want to give
up? How, I ask, please tell me?
Oh, my children, let me say unto you, no matter the situation you find
yourself in as you awaken to
another day, you can give thanks to God. Let me explain: You must remember
that the Lord God
knows your every suffering. He knows the predicament you are in every
given moment, and yet he
has deemed you to live on this earth another day. He has given you
a new day of creation--why?
Because he loves you very much. Every day you are a new creation unto
the Lord. He has refreshed
you and renewed your spirit to enable you to give him honor and glory
for your life. It matters not
what situation you find your life in on this new day. He is always
aware of your plight. But he asks on
this day that you, too, turn all your joys and problems over to him.
If you do this request, you will be
blessed. Give him honor and glory and thanks for that day and see how
your lives will change. You
will find a new sense of peace and happiness that no human nor ideal
could ever give you. Offer up
your pains and sorrows for a noble cause; for example, offer them for
someone who has completely
turned away from God. There is always someone worse off than you. Turn
your inner thoughts of
self-pity to outward thoughts of thanksgiving for your life. If you
do this, you will soon see changes
happening in your life. Even if you are not cured of your illness or
relieved of your problems, you will
find a new sense of worthiness, a new meaning to life. Please believe
me that life will take on a new
meaning, a new course where suddenly you will no longer feel sorry
for yourself, where your
problems will seem less burdensome and where you will find a serene,
peaceful feeling permeating
throughout your being. You will feel numb with this new life, a God-ly
sedative that will calm your
anxieties and make all problems disappear. You will be a new creation,
far away from man's
problems, and you will be able to concentrate on God's elements in
your life. Try this for your sake
and "for heaven's sake." You will not be disappointed. May I ask you
if all the pains you suffer, all
the worries you carry in your mind, all the doubt and fear you have
shut in your mind has ever
benefitted you as a human being? I think not! Do you know why? Because
the enemy of the soul
knows that when your body and mind are blocked out to the goodness
and light of God, he can
better control your life. Do not, I beg of you, let him gain control
of your precious life by making you
give in to your bitterness, making you curse your afflictions, making
you wallow in self-pity, making
you curse your Creator and doubt him for the predicament your life
is in. Your Creator knows the
situation you are in at every given moment in your life. However, he
has to allow good and bad to
enter into your life. Why, you ask? Remember the gift of free will?
It was a gift to you for all time.
Just that simple--you have the choice to give your Creator all honor
and glory in this earthly walk
with him in faith and let him, in turn, give you his peace and his
love; or you may choose the other
course and give in to the lies of Satan, whereby your life will continue
to be miserable, and darkness
will soon cover the light of God until you see no hope, no future,
and you are doomed to the will of
Satan. Please do not let this happen to you.
This friend of yours, this savior who suffered and died that you might
live in the love and light of the
Creator, is pleading with you: DO NOT GIVE YOUR LIFE OVER TO SATAN!
I am requesting
and pleading for you to give every day of your life on earth to God,
your Creator. On awaking every
day, lift up your eyes to the heavens, give thanks to your Creator
for this new day, give honor and
praise to the Triune Godhead,--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,--and say,
as I said from the cross:
'Father, into your hands I commend my body and my spirit!'
Take me this day, with all my pains, all my problems,
all my worries, and all my joys.
I offer my life to you this day.
Make me and mold me to your likeness
and shower your blessings on me.
I accept this day as a gift from you,
and I will honor and cherish it,
and, in thanksgiving, I will give back to you my love.
Praise and glory be given to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
as I go about this day doing your bidding.
Amen.
Please, won't you try this philosophy of life? As the saying goes, "Let
go and let God." Yes, do let go
of the world and all its problems which cause you heartaches, and turn
to God. Give him your
heartaches and let him handle them. Let him make you a new creation
unto him. In thanksgiving, I
pray. On this day, may the peace in your hearts be found in him, through
him, and with him.
